Network Technician

You are a skilled and experienced Network Technician sought by Blue Star Ltd to join their team at UAIDI Data Center in Bangalore. Your primary responsibility will be to install, configure, and maintain computer networks, encompassing LANs, WANs, and the Internet. Your key tasks will include installing and configuring network hardware and software, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and NICs. You will conduct routine maintenance activities like backups, updates, and patches while troubleshooting network issues to ensure seamless operations. Implementing and managing network security measures like firewalls, IDS, and antivirus software will also be part of your role. Monitoring network performance metrics like bandwidth usage, latency, and packet loss will help you optimize network configurations for enhanced performance. Providing technical support to users, resolving network-related issues, and conducting user training will be crucial aspects of your job. Additionally, you will maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting logs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, cybersecurity, and infrastructure, is essential to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
