Job Description

Role Overview: You will be a part of the Data Center Network Services team at Cisco IT, responsible for supporting network services for Cisco Engineering and business functions globally. The team's primary objective is to build an adaptable and agile network using Cisco's networking solutions. The team fosters a collaborative and innovative culture, encouraging creative thinking and experimentation with new ideas. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and deploy Data Center network capabilities within the Data Center Network - Collaborate with engineers across various disciplines and internal clients to create innovative and high-quality capabilities - Handle incident, problem, and organizational change related to network infrastructure - Utilize technologies like Routing, Switching, Nexus, VPC, VDC, VLAN, VXLAN, and BGP - Implement DevOps principles and Agile practices in network operations Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Engineering or Technology with a minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, deploying, operating, and managing scalable DC network infrastructure (using Nexus OS) - Proficiency in technologies such as Routing, Switching, Nexus, VPC, VDC, VLAN, VXLAN, and BGP - Familiarity with incident handling, problem resolution, and organizational change management - Knowledge of DevOps principles and comfort with Agile practices - Preferred qualifications include CCNP or CCIE/DE certification - Experience with SONiC NoS, BGP routing, L3 Fabrics, Nvidia, Linux networking, Python, Prometheus, Splunk, Grafana, and Cisco Firepower firewalls (FTD/FMC) - Nice to have qualifications include experience with Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller and VXLan based networks Additional Company Details: Cisco is at the forefront of revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era and beyond.
