System & Network Administrator Experience : 45 Years Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and experienced System & Network Administrator to maintain, support, and enhance our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing servers, networks, user systems, and security frameworks to ensure seamless operations and high system availability. Key Responsibilities System Administration Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers and desktop systems. Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Office 365 environments. Perform regular system upgrades, patch management, and data backups. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize efficiency. Implement and maintain IT security measures including antivirus, endpoint protection, and access controls. Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and procedures. Network Administration Administer LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall infrastructure. Configure and manage switches, routers, and firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWall). Monitor network traffic and performance, ensuring uptime and reliability. Set up and manage remote access solutions and wireless networks. Ensure secure network architecture with appropriate segmentation and monitoring tools. Support VoIP, video conferencing, and bandwidth management systems. Required Skills & Competencies Solid experience in both Windows and Linux server environments. Strong understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP. Experience with network and system monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix). Familiar with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud environments (Azure/AWS basics). Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 4–5 years of proven experience in combined system and network administration roles. Relevant certifications preferred: MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, CCNP, RHCE, CompTIA Network+ .
