Stantec s Pune, India office is looking for a Network Modeller to join our team and work in Water group. Contribute to the ongoing growth of Stantec Resource Net Private India Ltd by providing technical expertise in specialist areas of wastewater network modelling. To be involved in the implementation and delivery of leading edge programmes and projects. Support project managers/team leader by providing technical expertise to ensure that project outcomes in terms of profit, schedule, technical and quality standards, meet both the client and Stantec expectations. Person specification Master s degree in civil/ Environmental Engineering Understanding of hydraulic modelling, run-off models and hydraulics (gravity & pressure networks) Knowledge of hydraulic modelling software, StormCAD, InfoWorks CS, InfoWorks ICM, and InfoSWMM preferred Have excellent data manipulation abilities (MS Excel/MS Access database type packages) Knowledge of GIS packages: Mapinfo, ArcGIS preferred. Responsibility Design and development of LTE NAS/L4 modem SW. Fixing defects and updating the analysis results in the defect tracking system Participate in system level analysis and debugging complex issues Technical Skills Experience in LTE or any other cellular wireless technology Good Understanding of 3GPP requirements of NAS /L4 24.301, 24.008, 23.122, 27.007 Experience in LTE protocol stack SW development on Non-Access stratum/ L4 Layer. Experience in embedded software development Programming in C/C++ Excellent analytical and debugging skills (Desirable) Working experience of LTE Protocol stack SW development LTE Layer 4 Protocol Deveopment LTE NAS Development L4 Modem Development UE side development 3GPP C/C++

Role & responsibilities High Proficiency in carrying out complex NS2 / NS3 simulations Good understanding of WSN, VANET, MANET,FANET etc. Familiarity with Linux, SUMO, TCL and Python. Experience in incorporating Machine Learning Techniques to the Network Simulation Models . Ability to learn new languages and technologies Knowledge on Network Security, IoT, Fog Computing , CLOUDSIM and Experience in OPNET, OMNET++, MININET would be an added advantage. Certification in Networking / Network Security or related technologies is a plus. Preferred candidate profile Masters in Computer Science and Engineering or related educational qualification. Proven Experience as a NS2/NS3 Developer or similar role.
