Network Security Developer

As a Network Security Developer at The Center for Cyber Security, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, your role involves: - Designing and implementing network infrastructure, which includes setting up routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. - Developing software for network systems by writing code to automate network tasks, manage configurations, and integrate network systems with other software applications. - Troubleshooting and maintaining networks, identifying and resolving network issues to ensure smooth communication between devices and systems. - Implementing and managing security measures to protect networks from unauthorized access, threats, and cyberattacks. - Optimizing network performance by monitoring network traffic, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing performance to meet business needs. - Collaborating with other IT teams, such as network engineers, system administrators, and IT professionals, to ensure a smooth and efficient network environment. Qualifications required for this position include: - B. Tech. and/or M. Tech. in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. Cybersecurity specialization is preferable but not essential. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C, Embedded C, C++, Go, and other languages commonly used in network development. - Knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), switching firewall routing applications, deep packet inspection, and software stack. - Understanding of networking protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other essential protocols for managing network communication. - Familiarity with network operating systems such as Linux, Windows Server, and other relevant systems.
