Network Security Administrator

Role & responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, implement, and maintain data, voice, and video infrastructure in an enterprise environment.

• Troubleshoot complex issues and outages across data, voice, and video networks using a wide range of technologies.

• Optimize network performance by analyzing monitoring and trend analysis reports. • Secure network systems by defining and enforcing policies, controlling access, and monitoring compliance.

• Plan and perform upgrades to keep network infrastructure current and secure. • Collaborate with internal IT stakeholders and external customers to ensure the network infrastructure supports organizational and business needs.

• Diagnose and resolve system-level issues in multi-vendor, multi-protocol data, voice, and video environments. • Simulate incidents in a LAB environment to identify root causes and manage escalations from internal teams.

• Administer and manage core infrastructure tools including Zscaler, Cisco Switches, Routers, Firewalls, SolarWinds, and VPNs.

• Provide remote infrastructure support, including VPN setup and maintenance. • Ensure continuous network availability and resolve hardware or software malfunctions quickly and effectively.

Desired Skill:

• 4 to 8 years of experience working with data network and voice technologies in enterprise environments.

• Strong technical skills in: o Routing and Switching o Firewall Management o IPS / IDS o Load Balancers • Hands-on experience with: o Zscaler o Cisco Switches and Firewalls o F5 LTM o SolarWinds o Palo Alto Firewall

• In-depth understanding of: o Access Control Systems (ACS) o Load balancers o Switches, routers, and other network security appliances

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.

• CCNA and CCNP certifications preferred.

Nice to Have: • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.

• Exposure to ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) environments.
