Job Description Who You&aposll Work With As an Apprentice Trainee in our Sales Engineering team, you will join a group of industry experts and technical leaders. Reporting to the System Engineering Manager, you&aposll collaborate with skilled field engineers and contribute to aligning our solutions with our clients' larger business goals. You&aposll work closely with our Product Management and Software Development teams to steer product developments and strategic direction. Qualifications Pursuing or recently completed a BE/BS/CS/CE technical degree. Interest in obtaining Network Industry Certifications (e.g., CCIE (R&S), JNCIE) preferred. Strong foundational knowledge in L2/L3 networking design and implementation. Familiarity with routing and switching, including L2/L3 protocols (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, Aruba). Interest in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales SE, or Network Consulting Engineering. Basic knowledge of network overlays preferred. Understanding of Ethernet, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, BGP, eBGP, VxLAN, EVPN, Multicast, Spanning Tree, and QoS. Familiarity with industry-standard CLI. Interest in SDN and Network Function Virtualization (NFV) desired. Basic programming skills in Python and Ansible for network automation. Awareness of competitive products, solutions, and services. Ability to write white papers is a plus. In this role, you will join the Sales Engineering team as a Senior Systems Engineer, supporting enterprise/commercial customers in the Western India region. Your responsibilities will include acting as a trusted advisor to customers, gathering requirements, identifying opportunities, and conducting network architectural reviews and product presentations. You will design and propose network solutions using leaf-spine architectures and network overlays, validate proof-of-concept setups, and provide hands-on support for network designs and deployments. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Sales Team to respond to RFPs/RFQs, provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering, represent Arista at industry events, and stay updated on competitive solutions and services. To excel in this role, you should hold a technical degree in BE/BS/CS/CE, with a preference for Network Industry Certification (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE). With a minimum of 10+ years of networking design and implementation experience, focusing on Data Centre and Campus networks, you should possess expertise in routing, switching, L2/L3 protocols, and network overlays. Knowledge of Ethernet, IP Routing, TCP/IP, BGP, VxLAN, EVPN, and network automation tools like Python and Ansible will be beneficial.
