Job Description

In this role as a Network Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure smooth operations. Your main responsibilities will include: - Configuring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the security of branch and data center switching and routing. - Handling wireless technologies configuration and troubleshooting, as well as ensuring security measures are in place. - Managing enterprise firewalls, with a focus on CheckPoint and Palo Alto systems. - Implementing internet routing and network security protocols to protect the network. - Familiarity with cloud networking technologies such as Azure and AWS is highly desirable. - Working with interior and exterior routing protocols like OSPF and BGP. - Implementing VPN technologies for Site-to-Site and Remote Access connections. - Managing proxy solutions like Bluecoat and McAfee for secure internet access. - Configuring and managing load balancers to optimize network traffic. - Overseeing IP Address Management (IPAM) and network services including DNS, DHCP, and NTP. - Utilizing network management and monitoring tools for efficient network operation. - Conducting network probes and packet capture analysis to troubleshoot issues effectively. Qualifications required for this role include: - A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a Network Operations Engineer position. - CCNA certification is mandatory, while CCNP certification is strongly preferred or currently in progress. - Proficiency in a wide range of networking technologies and protocols. - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
