As a Routing & Switching Expert, you will be responsible for demonstrating proficiency in Cisco Switches (45XX, 3750/6500/Nexus/meraki) and Routers (ASR 1000 Series, 72xx/2600/2800, 3800 series). Your role will involve showcasing strong experience in Nexus upgrades, configurations, and troubleshooting. You will be expected to leverage your expertise in IP routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP for configuration and troubleshooting in enterprise networks. Your advanced networking protocols knowledge will be crucial, including QOS, MPLS, VRF, and VRF lite. You should be proficient in switching protocols like STP, RSTP, PVST, and port channeling, as well as have experience with HSRP, NAT, GLBP, and IP SLA configuration and troubleshooting. Furthermore, you will be required to demonstrate strong experience with Cisco ASA, FortiGate UTM, and expertise in site-to-site VPN (IPsec), web, or SSL VPN. Your responsibilities will also include proficiency in load balancer platforms such as Citrix or F5, as well as good experience with Cisco Meraki WAN devices, switches, and wireless access points. Familiarity with network tools like Wireshark, Network Observer, Netflow Analyzer, and MRTG will be beneficial in this role. In terms of behavioral and organizational skills, you should possess strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with onsite clients and senior peers globally. Being client service-oriented with excellent delegation and follow-up skills is essential. Additionally, you will be expected to demonstrate team leadership by taking end-to-end ownership for service delivery and leading teams of network services professionals, including NOC and Level 2 support. Your adaptability and planning skills will be tested as you need to be assertive and flexible to meet business demands. You should be able to function effectively in a quality-conscious, process-driven, and productivity-focused organization.,
