Network Lead Aruba & Cisco Wireless

As a Network Lead, you will play a crucial role in designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-grade wireless networks using Aruba and Cisco technologies. Your success in this position will be defined by ensuring high availability, security, and performance across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the planning, design, implementation, and optimization of wireless network infrastructure using Aruba (ClearPass, AirWave, Central) and Cisco (Catalyst, WLC, Prime) solutions. - Manage end-to-end wireless network operations, including troubleshooting, capacity planning, firmware upgrades, and documentation. - Collaborate with security teams to implement wireless security protocols (e.g., 802.1X, WPA2-Enterprise, RADIUS integration). - Conduct wireless site surveys using tools like Ekahau or AirMagnet to assess signal strength, interference, and coverage. - Maintain and monitor wireless performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and proactively recommend enhancements. - Provide Tier 3 escalation support and mentor junior network engineers. - Maintain up-to-date documentation of network topology, configurations, and operational procedures. - Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with Aruba/Cisco support as needed. - Lead or participate in network projects, migrations, and large-scale rollouts across global offices or campuses. - Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and security regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 8+ years of experience in enterprise networking, with at least 3+ years specializing in wireless technologies. - In-depth knowledge of Aruba Networks: ClearPass, AirWave, Aruba Central, Mobility Controllers and Cisco Wireless: Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), Cisco DNA Center, Prime Infrastructure. - Strong understanding of Wi-Fi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and wireless design principles. - Hands-on experience with RADIUS, VLANs, SNMP, DHCP, and DNS in a wireless context. - Experience with network security, wireless encryption, and authentication (e.g., EAP, PEAP, PSK, 802.1X). - Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting tools: Ekahau, SolarWinds, Wireshark, etc.,
