Description
The purpose of the role is to provide solutions and bridge the gap between technology and business knowledge in order to deliver client solutions effectively. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between project and support teams by utilizing your techno-functional expertise. You will drive the end-to-end process for new business implementation projects, starting from business requirement management to integration, configuration, and production deployment. Additionally, you will be required to assess the feasibility of new change requirements and provide optimal solutions to clients within clear timelines. Your role will involve providing techno-functional support for new business implementations, including building the entire system from scratch. You will also support the solutioning team in architectural design, coding, testing, and implementation processes. Furthermore, you will need to understand both functional and technical designs and architectures to be implemented on the ERP system. Your responsibilities will include customizing, extending, modifying, localizing, or integrating existing products through coding, testing, and production. You will implement business processes, requirements, and underlying ERP technology to translate them into ERP solutions. It will be essential to write code in line with developmental standards and decide on the implementation methodology. Additionally, you will provide product support and maintenance to clients for specific ERP solutions, resolving day-to-day queries and technical problems as needed. Moreover, you will create and deploy automation tools and solutions to optimize processes and enhance efficiency. Your role will require you to bridge technical and functional project requirements, providing solutioning and advice to clients or internal teams accordingly. You will also support on-site managers with necessary details regarding any changes and provide off-site support. In terms of skill development and competency building, you will need to clear Wipro exams and internal certifications regularly to upgrade your skills. Attending trainings and seminars to enhance knowledge in functional and technical domains will also be part of your role. Additionally, writing papers, articles, case studies, and publishing them on the intranet will contribute to skill enhancement and knowledge sharing within the organization. Your performance will be measured based on various parameters including contribution to customer projects such as quality, SLA adherence, ETA, number of tickets resolved, problems solved, change requests implemented, zero customer escalations, and CSAT scores. Furthermore, your contribution to automation through process optimization, reduction in steps, and tickets raised will be evaluated. Skill upgradation metrics will include the number of trainings and certifications completed, as well as the number of papers, articles written in a quarter.
