You are a proactive and experienced System Engineer being sought after by NOMCIndia to join the Network Operations Management Center (NOMC) in Jabalpur. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring network performance, resolving system issues, and implementing solutions to enhance operational capabilities. As a critical member of the team, you will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficiency of the IT infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will involve proactively monitoring network infrastructure, servers, and applications using tools like Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar software. You will be required to identify, diagnose, and resolve network and system issues promptly to minimize downtime. Serving as a point of contact for network and system-related incidents, you will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to network protocols, routing, switching, and network security. Additionally, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software, managing and supporting network security infrastructure, performing regular system backups and recovery procedures, and providing technical support to internal teams and end-users when needed. Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, generating regular reports on network performance and system availability, and identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement will also be part of your role. To excel in this position, you should possess proven experience as a NOC Technician, System Engineer, or in a similar role within IT operations (2-5 years). A strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies, proficiency in network monitoring tools, knowledge of routing protocols and switching technologies, and familiarity with network security principles are essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced 24/7 operations environment are key attributes required for success in this role. Desired qualifications include relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL Foundation, experience with scripting languages for automation, familiarity with cloud networking concepts, and knowledge of ITIL framework and practices. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field or equivalent work experience in a relevant role is necessary for this position.,
