In depth knowledge of Java language, principles and design patterns including concepts from Java 8, e.g. lambdas, streams Understanding of paradigms of Object Oriented, Functional, Event Driven Programming Experience with Java frameworks e.g. JAIN SLEE, J2EE, Spring Good understanding of JVM including GC implementations, e.g. CMS, ParNew, G1, and performance tuning RDBMS systems, e.g. MySQL, and no-SQL systems e.g. Redis Client-Server protocols e.g. HTTP, SIP Transport protocols e.g. UDP, TCP, TLS Build frameworks, e.g. Maven, Ant CI/CD frameworks, e.g. Jenkins, Azure Devops, Gitlab CI/CD Command of Linux OS environment, command line, tools, user management, networking, with hands on experience Bash/Python scripting Virtualisation, containerisation, cloud frameworks, e.g. VirtualBox/Hyper-V, Docker, Azure/AWS/GCP/Openstack Git for code management Infrastructure as code frameworks, e.g. Ansible, Terraform Jira and Agile, Scrum
