Network Engineer L3 (Night Shift)

The Network L3 Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced network systems. You will need to have a deep understanding of network architecture, protocols, security, and performance optimization to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of the company's network infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing complex network solutions that meet business needs and requirements. Additionally, you will develop and maintain network diagrams and documentation, evaluate new technologies to improve network performance and security, and configure and test new network devices in collaboration with OEMs and Vendors. Monitoring network performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues, performing advanced troubleshooting for network-related incidents, and coordinating with other IT teams to minimize downtime will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be in charge of implementing and managing network security measures, conducting regular security assessments, and responding to network security incidents. Analyzing network traffic patterns, optimizing network performance, implementing quality of service policies, collaborating with vendors and service providers for network optimization, and planning continual service improvements will also be under your purview. Maintaining comprehensive documentation, generating reports on network performance, security, and capacity, and providing technical guidance to junior network engineers are important aspects of this role. To be eligible for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Technology or a related field, along with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in network engineering focusing on advanced network design, implementation, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in network protocols and technologies, experience with network security technologies, knowledge of network monitoring tools, familiarity with cloud networking and virtualization technologies, and strong scripting and automation skills are desired. Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and being detail-oriented are key soft skills required for this role. Occasional on-call support and availability outside regular business hours, as well as lifting and transporting network equipment, may be part of your working conditions.,
