Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Lead consultant - Network Engineer The network consultant role is responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting client network equipment, ensuring consistent connectivity to client Data Centers. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Network (LAN/WAN) technologies and be able to diagnose and resolve network issues while seeking opportunities for improvement. Familiarity with networking concepts, practices, and procedures is essential. The role requires experience and sound judgment to handle various tasks and contribute to goal achievement. Responsibilities Working Experience in Firewall (Palo Alto & Juniper) configuration and troubleshooting. Should have work Experience in upgrading/patching firewalls. Must have Experience in configuring & handling in L3 R/S issues (VRF Routing, ACL, Prefixlist/Distribution list). Must have Experience in BGP/OSPF/IPsec/SSL. Perform activities related to Changes and change management activities (e.g. creating change requests and script/configuration) following change process and procedures. Should have proven communication skills and experience in handling bridge calls. Maintain network asset information and update network topology diagrams periodically. Raise ticket with product vendors (Cisco/Palo/F5) and coordinate to resolve issues. Execution of iOS Upgrades, security patches and bug fixes for switches/router & Firewall. Perform periodic configuration backup and restore as per policy. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and help enhance quality of internal processes. Create case logs, record information, set resolution timelines, follow up on issues, and escalate complex cases as necessary. Analyze issues and determine appropriate actions to guide clients or associates toward a timely resolution. Should have knowledge of Cisco ACI. Troubleshoot network issues and implement corrective measures. Maintain network performance through monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting, escalating issues to vendors when required. Apply knowledge of clients case resolution processes, policies, and escalation methods in daily tasks. Provide ad-hoc support and perform other duties as assigned. Participate in 24x7x365 rotational support for production systems and services. Contribute to and enhance clients Hosting IT knowledge management system Exposure in Cloud networking. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills Bachelor's Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Preferred Skills Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Strong technical knowledge in LAN, WAN, Palo Alto firewalls, F5 Load balancers and Cisco Devices. Strong experience in CISCO Network support – Troubleshooting and projects.
