Job Description Role Overview: As a member of the Comcast team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and operational support of the Company's internet protocol network. Your role will involve providing expert-level technical advice and support for real-time analysis, design, testing, and operations of internet protocol router networks. You will play a key role in a complex and crucial environment, potentially leading teams or projects and sharing your expertise. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical leadership and directions as a primary technical resource on internet protocol router network technologies. - Analyze internet protocol network design and traffic flows for network optimization. - Configure routing to efficiently distribute customer traffic. - Analyze traffic engineering data to forecast network capacity requirements. - Follow Engineering design life cycle with proper documentation ensuring that all detailed designs adhere to network standards. - Develop test and acceptance criteria for internet protocol networks and provide technical support for internet protocol network problems. - Offer technical training to technicians and other operations/engineering groups on current and future technology. - Build and maintain ongoing relationships with the regions and local markets. - Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. - Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, including the ability to work nights and weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary. - Fulfill any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
