Network Deployment Project Manager

Role Overview: You will be responsible for supporting full observability and monitoring processes to ensure customer uptime of 99.999%. Your role will involve collaborating with the network operations team to identify improvement opportunities and working with the network engineering team and OEMs to implement solutions through automation. You will also be required to proactively identify and report security gaps and vulnerabilities, plan for end-to-end network and security projects, and support technical incident management calls and change controls. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the network operations team to identify continuous improvement opportunities - Work with the network engineering team and OEMs to implement solutions through automation - Identify and report security gaps and vulnerabilities to critical business systems - Plan for end-to-end network and security project implementations - Support major technical incident management calls and change controls - Perform configuration updates on network security tools as directed - Collaborate with global leaders to ensure 24/7 network availability - Ensure high-quality Follow the Sun (FTS) is delivered to receiving teams - Support on-call schedule and shifts - Support continuous improvement in service management for network services - Implement best practices and processes for network and security operations - Monitor system performance and health, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions - Optimize infrastructure for application performance and scalability - Support team members in achieving technical network excellence - Develop improvements for an always-on network capability - Develop security policies, standards, and procedures - Assist with security compliance audits - Proficient in routing and switching protocols, wireless technology, data center operations, WAN/SD-WAN/SDN, and network monitoring tools - Experience with Cisco firewalls, Viavi Observer, and Wireshark for packet analysis - Familiarity with end-user security strategies - Educational background in computer science engineering or related field - Experience in project leadership - Ability to engineer and deploy updates using JavaScript - Proficiency in F5 load balancer knowledge - Strong troubleshooting skills - Hands-on experience with networking services and operations - Minimum of 3 years of experience with Cisco firewalls/VPNs - At least 6 years of experience in network security engineering roles within medium to large-scale enterprises Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or related field - Experience leading or participating in enhancement projects - Ability to engineer and deploy updates using JavaScript - Proficiency in F5 load balancer knowledge - Strong experience in troubleshooting network environments - Minimum of 3 years of experience with Cisco firewalls/VPNs - At least 6 years of experience in network security engineering roles within medium to large-scale enterprises - Total of 12 years of enterprise IT experience Role Overview: You will be responsible for supporting full observability and monitoring processes to ensure customer uptime of 99.999%.
