Job Description: The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Adamas Universitys network infrastructure. The candidate will lead network projects, ensure high availability and performance of critical systems, and support IT operations across the campus. This role involves managing firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and troubleshooting complex network issues Key Responsibilities: Strong troubleshooting skills across LAN and WAN environments. Hands-on expertise in FORTIGATE And PALO ALTO FIREWALL solutions, MPLS networks, and Switching protocols (Packet Switching ,Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), LACP,VTP,L3VLAN,L2VLAN). In-depth knowledge of Internet, Wi-Fi, and wireless technologies. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI models, and IP SLA concepts. Configuration, Monitoring & Troubleshooting of Networking devices (Switches, Routers of leading OEMs like CISCO, AIRPRO,TPLINK etc.). Should support a heterogenous network infrastructure consisting of Firewall,Switches, AP ,WLC ,etc. Securing Network Systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access. Network Operations - Network configuration, IP assignment, monitoring, Firmware upgrades, Manage and maintain Network ISP services, Fault handling and escalation (identifying and responding to faults on Network & Network devices, liaising with 3rd party suppliers/vendors for services and its management). Timely resolution of calls / incidents related to all network issues within defined timelines. Regular Patching of all provisioned Network & Security devices Vendor Management and Asset & Inventory Management. Proficiency in managing and securing Data canter networks. Ability to design and document complex network architectures (HLD/LLD). Support Regular VA scans and its remediation based on the priorities of all provisioned Network & Security devices. Periodic communication with vendors/NE's for regularly updating work progress on the tickets and service requests.
