Key Responsibilities: Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls (FAR) to ensure network security and compliance. Perform routing and switching administration for LAN, WAN, and VPN connections. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Implement and maintain network security policies and procedures. Perform periodic network health checks , monitoring, and capacity planning. Manage user access, network permissions, and ensure adherence to security protocols. Coordinate with vendors and ISPs for issue resolution and upgrades. Maintain and document network infrastructure, configurations, and changes. Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of network systems. Required Skills: Hands-on experience with firewalls (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, etc.) Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP) and switching concepts. Familiarity with VPN, MPLS, load balancing, and proxy servers . Good knowledge of network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc.). Understanding of security best practices , IDS/IPS, and threat prevention. Experience in network backup, DR planning, and patch management . Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
