Network Automation Engineer

As an Automation Engineer with a focus on heavy scripting, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation solutions to streamline infrastructure processes. Your key responsibilities will include: - Utilizing your expert proficiency in Python for network automation, scripting, and application development. - Working extensively with REST APIs for network device configuration, orchestration, and service integration. - Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure or network code using industry-standard tools as part of DevOps practices. - Demonstrating solid understanding of core networking concepts such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, and Firewalls, along with security principles. Preferred skills for this role include: - Experience in cloud networking automation with platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Proficiency in other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible or Terraform. - Previous exposure to regulated industries like Medical Devices or Healthcare. - Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN) principles, architecture, and common vendor platforms. - Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, Python-related certifications, or DevOps certifications would be advantageous for this role. You will be based onsite in Bangalore, India, and the ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience in Automation Engineering, specifically focusing on infrastructure automation.,
