Network Assessment & Observability Engineer

NetBrain is seeking an enthusiastic, relationship-minded, and technically savvy individual to join as a Network Assessment & Observability Engineer on the Services Engineering Team. This role requires someone who is ready to assist customers in transforming their organizations by fostering a culture of no-code automation innovation. As a Network Assessment & Observability Engineer at NetBrain, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of the no-code automation platform within client accounts. By collaborating cross-functionally within customer organizations, you will establish relationships with engineers from L1 NOC Engineers to Senior Directors. Your responsibilities will include adapting corporate strategy, designing automation architecture, and leading ongoing automation development efforts. Utilizing excellent communication skills, you will provide leadership, training, and guidance to clients and engineers. Your consultative approach will involve evaluating client requirements, proposing solutions, and accelerating automation objectives. Collaboration with NetBrain sales account executives, customer success managers, NetBrain Automation Architects, and Technical Support is also essential. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize NetBrain's reverse engineering technology to discover any network's golden configurations and golden intents. - Develop automations using NetBrain for network assessments, breaking down the network in terms of features, network clusters, rules, and intents. - Architect and customize observability of customer network's critical infrastructure using automation. - Decode common network configurations and features into critical configurations and states. - Build and maintain an automated network assessment library. - Analyze customer's deployed network technology, design documents, and create automation solutions. - Train customer network engineers in using reverse engineering to assess and observe their networks. Qualifications: - Degree in a technical subject (STEM) or equivalent work experience, preferably in a partner/post-sales services or consultant role. - Minimum of 5 years experience as a Network Engineer in planning, designing, and optimizing customer networks through critical network assessments. - Expertise in one or more areas such as Routing & Switching (R&S), Wireless, Security, SD-WAN & Cloud Networking. - Experience in translating business requirements into technical solutions. - Knowledgeable and experienced in networking fundamentals. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team with little supervision and guidance.
