Experience can range from 5 to 15 years with a minimum of 2 years of SONiC development experience preferred. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining features and enhancements for the SONiC NOS platform. You will be expected to develop and execute test plans using PTF and SPyTest for infrastructure, debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues on SONiC platforms. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers and test teams is essential. Participation in code reviews, architecture discussions, and documentation efforts is required. Additionally, you will contribute to SONiC open-source communities and stay updated with the evolving SONiC ecosystem. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Strong experience with SONiC network operating system is necessary along with proficiency in Python, C/C++. Experience with PTF (Packet Test Framework) and SPyTest for network validation is preferred. Familiarity with Linux internals, docker containers is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are required. Knowledge of network ASICs and switch hardware architecture is an added advantage.,
