Network and Security Manager

Candidate have 3-4 years of experience in network administration and security. • Experience with FortiGate firewalls is mandatory, including configuring VPNs, NAT policies, and advanced threat protection. • Support and monitor network performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime. • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs) and network protocols. • Experience with security features such as IDS/IPS, anti-virus, anti-spam, and DLP within the Fortinet ecosystem. • Ability to manage network security incidents and implement mitigations promptly. • Skilled in identifying, analyzing, and resolving network-related incidents and vulnerabilities in a structured manner. • Experience in maintaining thorough documentation of network configurations, policies, and resolutions for audit and compliance purposes. • Ability to follow and enforce network and security policies in line with industry standards. • Monitor and optimize network infrastructure to ensure efficient operations. • Enforce and review security policies to comply with industry standards and best practices. • Maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, policies, and incident resolutions. • Work closely with IT teams, security analysts and system administrators for a coordinated security strategy. • Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex network issues escalated from L1 and L2 support teams. • Conduct root cause analysis and problem resolution for network outages and performance issues. • Lead network-related projects, including migrations, upgrades and infrastructure expansions. • Support hybrid cloud environments, integrating AWS with on-premises and other cloud platforms. • Implement and optimize AWS services for network performance, including Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, and VPN. • Develop and enforce security policies and controls across AWS environments using Security Groups, Network Access Control Lists (NACLs), and IAM roles.
