This role is responsible for supporting daily operations of the IT infrastructure services. In addition, the Engineer will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all system hardware, software, and communication links. Performs timely notification updates to middle and senior management electronically and via telephone for extended outages and Maintenance Windows. Regularly participates in the Shift Handover process with previous and incoming shift teams to help sync and transfer any ongoing issues or outages. Available for on-call and emergency response rotation as needed. Managed control protocols for LAN / WAN infrastructure. Ensure proper DHCP, DNS, IP, Firewall, VPN, and server configuration for customer networks. Develop and maintain operational documentation. Install and update software patches as required.
