Role- Network Admin Description We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security. Responsibilities Designing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal operation. Implementing security measures to safeguard the network from unauthorized access and threats. Managing network documentation and updating network diagrams and inventory. Collaborating with other IT teams to support application and system performance. Conducting regular network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with best practices. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5-15 years of experience in network administration or related roles. Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS). Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco devices and other networking equipment. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
