Implementing and managing HR policies and procedures that align with company guidelines and legal requirements. Overseeing performance management processes, including performance appraisals and feedback. Working with the plant's safety team to ensure a safe and healthy working environment. Implementing and monitoring safety policies and procedures. Maintaining accurate HR records and documentation. Providing HR guidance and support to managers and employees. May involve overseeing other administrative functions like canteen, transportation, and housekeeping. Advising management on HR best practices and legal requirements.
Assist in daily plant inspections to identify unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and hazards. Monitor compliance with safety procedures, PPE usage, and safe work practices. Report and escalate any safety violations to senior safety staff. Assist in maintaining compliance with Factories Act, ISO standards, and other statutory requirements. Support in conducting safety induction training for new employees, contractors, and visitors. Distribute and display safety posters, warning signs, and safety instructions in the workplace. Participate in toolbox talks and departmental safety meetings. Assist in recording and reporting accidents, near misses, and unsafe incidents. Help in initial investigation to determine causes and recommend preventive measures. Maintain incident/accident logbooks and safety records. Assist in conducting fire drills, evacuation drills, and first-aid response. Ensure fire extinguishers, alarms, and emergency equipment are regularly checked and maintained. Maintain safety inspection checklists, training attendance records, and audit reports. Support in preparing safety reports for management review. Coordinate with production, maintenance, and HR to address safety issues. Liaise with contractors to ensure adherence to plant safety rules.
