Backup Tools : Familiarity with enterprise-level backup software (e.g., Veeam, Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, Acronis, IBM Spectrum Protect). Automated Backup Systems : Understanding of scheduling, automating backups, and configuring retention policies. Cloud Backup Solutions: Experience with cloud-based backup solutions (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Backup, Google Cloud Storage). Disaster Recovery Planning : Ability to design and implement backup strategies that integrate with disaster recovery plans. Diagnostics: Strong skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues related to backup failures, slow restore times, and storage outages. Data Recovery: Expertise in various data recovery methods (e.g., file-level recovery, full-system recovery) and tools.
