NetBackup Process Lead

As part of the CS application decom project, you will be responsible for performing exports into the formal regulatory archive system for various environments. This will involve restoring data from tape for some applications and loading the backup dump into a database before exporting it into the regulatory archive. Approximately 50 applications are within the scope of this project, with each application requiring between 10 and 250 restores. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing tape operations such as selection and retrieval from vaults, ensuring bulk operations are handled efficiently - Executing the restore process to designated storage locations - Coordinating with the application team to load the restored data into the database The ideal candidate for this role should possess expertise in NetBackup, Windows, Linux, and have some knowledge of storage and filesystem management.
