Role Overview – Senior Data Protection Engineer (Veritas NetBackup): The selected candidate will specialize in Veritas NetBackup, responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise-grade data protection solutions . This is a critical role focused on ensuring the security, availability, and resilience of business data. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design & Implementation : Develop and deploy robust data protection strategies using Veritas NetBackup. System Management : Oversee backup and recovery operations across Windows and Linux environments, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity. Cyber Resilience : Implement features like immutability and anomaly detection to protect against ransomware and cyber threats. Collaboration : Work with internal IT teams to integrate solutions with existing infrastructure. Troubleshooting : Resolve complex issues promptly to minimize downtime. Documentation & Training : Maintain detailed documentation and support knowledge transfer to junior staff. Required Skills: Strong hands-on expertise with Veritas NetBackup.
