NetBackup Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the export process of environments into the formal regulatory archive system. This includes performing restores from tape for historical data for some applications and subsequently loading the backup dump into a database for export into the regulatory archive. Approximately 50 applications are within the scope of this project, each requiring between 10 to 250 restores. Key Responsibilities: - Manage tape management for each restore, including selection and retrieval from vaults, restore process to designated storage, and coordination with the application team for loading into the database. - Utilize key skills in NetBackup, Windows & Linux, and potentially storage/filesystem management. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in NetBackup, Windows, and Linux operating systems. - Experience with tape management and restore processes. - Strong coordination skills for working with application teams.,
