Conduct regular capacity planning to predict future storage needs and ensure the infrastructure can scale efficiently. Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting to resolve SAN-related issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of services. Monitor SAN health and performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Design and implement backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies for SAN storage to ensure business continuity. Ensure that data recovery processes are tested regularly and can be executed quickly in case of an outage or disaster. Implement and maintain security best practices for SAN storage, including encryption, access control, and audit logging. Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and internal security policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, systems administrators, and application owners, to ensure storage solutions meet organizational needs. Maintain thorough documentation for all storage designs, configurations, and procedures. Provide training and guidance to other IT staff on SAN technologies and best practices. Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution of complex SAN-related issues. Act as an escalation point for SAN storage-related incidents and service requests. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: 10+ years of experience in SAN Storage Strategic Lead, design, and implementation. 5+ Years experience in Storage Architecture, Proficiency in Multi-Vendor Enterprise Storage products like, DELL, PURE, HPe, CISCO and Broadcom Hands-on experience with SAN technologies such as Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and FCoE.
