The key responsibilities include a deep understanding of Swap/Cluster Acceptance Procedure, Ericsson OSS KPIs & Counters for LTE & VoLTE, LTE KPI Optimization for Ericsson System, NR NSA KPI Optimization for Ericsson System, and various procedures such as RRC, ERAB procedure, Handover Preparation & Execution, and PRB Utilization. Additionally, knowledge of drops due to UE lost, MME drops, drops due to Handover, as well as familiarity with Ericsson tools like Ericsson Performance Portal (EPP) and Ericsson Network Manager (ENM) is preferred. Basic knowledge of Nokia Counters and NetAct is considered an advantage. Understanding of Drive Test KPIs such as RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, CQI, and RI is also required for this role. Optional skills that would be beneficial include knowledge of 5G Standalone and basic knowledge of Power BI. As a Network Performance Optimization Expert Engineer. You will perform network performance, monitoring, and analysis by collecting and analyzing information, identifying the abnormalities from sources in the domain of the customer solution, diagnosing root causes of performance issues, and recommending improvement for optimization actions, QoS Optimization, parameter tuning, and SW Upgrades to meet contractual KPI targets. Find problems that were not identified during testing. You Have: Bachelors or masters degree in or related field with 14 + years of experience in Network Performance Optimization. Expertise in radio optimization for the latest SW/HW Release of Nokia 5G/4G and/or Samsung/Huawei 5G /4G Network. Experience in OEM-specific tools and products, including Nokia SRAN BTS, NetAct, and/or Samsung LSMR, USM. Experience in at least two RATs (5G & 4G) per OEM. End-to-end correlation across Radio, Access, IP, Transport, and Core domains.to improve Customer Experience, Service KPIs. Experience in spectrum refarming, 2G/3G sunset strategies, and post-optimization activities. Proficiency in data visualization & reporting tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Pivot Tables, Power BI). Experience in Radio Network Consolidation, ORAN, Cloud RAN, VRAN, Enterprise Networks, Private 5G, Massive MIMO, Network Slicing, MEC, and IoT Connectivity. Act as the team lead and Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for respective domains and OEMs. Independently manage project deliverables, ensuring seamless execution. Proactively optimize network performance to improve end-user experience. Identify and recommend new feature rollouts to enhance network performance. Perform carrier aggregation analysis for multi-carrier networks, ensuring optimal performance. Conduct analysis and optimization related to Umlaut (P3) & regulatory drive test (DT) benchmarking. Validate and optimize NPO tools (both in-house and third-party solutions). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CM, PM, FM, OMS) to resolve open action items. Manage customer interactions for SLA KPIs, regulatory compliance, and benchmarking reports.
