As a Senior Administrator SAP (BASIS) at Medline, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and reliability of SAP Systems. Your responsibilities will include actively engaging in troubleshooting activities during Production Down scenarios, coordinating efforts to mitigate crisis situations promptly, and working with technical and functional teams to resolve critical system issues effectively. You will be expected to review technical solutions from a Basis Admin perspective, mentor team members on new technology skills and process improvements, and monitor the health of critical systems by setting up and monitoring alerts. Additionally, you will be responsible for SAP solution lifecycle management, landscape planning, hardware sizing, and feasibility assessments. Collaboration with various IS teams to establish infrastructure standards and requirements for SAP systems operation will be a key part of your role. You will lead administration activities such as installation, configuration, monitoring, fine-tuning, and troubleshooting of the SAP technical environment. Ensuring security maintenance, patching, performance, transport management, and implementing quality process improvements will also be under your purview. Your expertise in managing SAP landscapes, including Netweaver, PI, BW, ECC, SCM, and Solution Manager, will be instrumental. Hands-on experience with HANA installation, migration, and administration, as well as managing ABAP & JAVA Stacks, will be crucial for success in this role. Experience in leading system admin teams, handling implementations, upgrades, and large-scale application support projects is essential. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in SAP systems landscape management, with at least 3 years in directly managing multiple SAP production environments. A four-year degree in Computer Science/Electronics and certifications in System Administration or MIS focus are preferred. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work in ambiguous environments, and a knack for problem-solving are key attributes we are looking for in candidates.
