The Manager Sustainability will drive the company's environmental agenda by championing the protection and preservation of natural resources. This role plays a key leadership part in developing and executing a comprehensive sustainability strategy. You will be responsible for expert knowledge in sustainability and climate-related initiatives such as net neutrality, MSCI/DJSI indices, net-zero targets, climate risk, and ESG impact assessment. Additionally, you should be experienced in performing or assessing quantification and calculations for scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions and LCA studies. Your duties will include preparing proposals and project scope for Plan A projects for different parts of the business related to Sustainability and CSR. You will be expected to execute carbon emissions/inventory projects & CSR projects with stakeholders in alignment with goals. Moreover, you should possess the ability to analyze and review process documentation, create standard operating procedures & internal controls for the purpose of carbon accounting. You will also be required to develop and identify projects that focus on carbon neutrality for ongoing emissions and conduct benchmarking exercises with industry frameworks and leading global practices. It is essential for you to stay up to date on industry trends and reporting frameworks both domestically and internationally to ensure alignment with M&S standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing qualitative and quantitative reporting for top management (India and UK) on the analysis of ESG progress. The key requirements for this role include effective communication and problem resolution skills, familiarity with Carbon accounting and ESG, hands-on experience in leading successful implementation of net neutral practices, proficiency in working on Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint Presentation), high flexibility, and quick learning ability to adopt and apply new methodologies/approaches. You should also be open to travel for project execution.,
