.NET Developer - Backend Developer Role

Job Title: Junior .NET Developer (Backend)Business

Group/ Support Dept:

Purpose of Role:

• Develop and maintain backend services using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.
• Connect to and manage databases using Entity Framework.
• Assist in building and maintaining RESTful APIs for various applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers and DevOps engineers.
• Support troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and share knowledge with peers

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
  

Work Experience:

• 1- 2 years of hands-on experience with .NET development
• Experience in backend service development and database management

Technical / Industry Skills:

• Proficient in C# with a basic understanding of ASP.NET Core
• Familiarity with MongoDB (queries, collections, indexes)
• Exposure to REST APIs and MVC/Web API architecture
• Understanding of Entity Framework for database connectivity and ORM
• Competent in using Git and development tools like Visual Studio or VS Code
