.NET Core API Developer (External Services Integration)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs using .NET Core.
• Integrate APIs with various external services such as payment gateways, authentication providers, and third-party data sources.
• Implement service-to-service communication using industry-standard protocols (REST, SOAP, gRPC).
• Ensure secure integration using OAuth2, JWT, API keys, and other security mechanisms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement integration requirements.
• Optimize integration processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Monitor and maintain integrations with proactive error handling and logging.
• Write unit and integration tests for all developed services.
• Document APIs and integration workflows using Swagger/OpenAPI and internal tools.

Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with

  C# and .NET Core/.NET 5+

• Proficient in building and consuming

  RESTful APIs

  (e.g., payment processors, SMS/email providers, identity providers, etc.).

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in .NET Core API development.
• Proven experience in integrating and managing multiple external services.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
