Role Purpose: The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the execution of High Voltage (HV) and Extra High Voltage (EHV) Substation projects from initiation to completion. This includes planning, design coordination, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, project schedule, quality standards, and HSE requirements. ______________ Key Responsibilities: • Manage the full project lifecycle of HV/EHV substation projects (132kV, 220kV, 380kV) • Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery. • Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure contractual compliance. • Ensure project delivery in line with SEC / utility authority standards and client specifications. • Monitor project performance (scope, cost, schedule, and quality) and implement corrective actions when necessary. • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards on all project activities. • Conduct regular progress meetings with stakeholders and prepare detailed progress reports. • Review and approve technical submittals, drawings, and project documentation. • Manage risks, claims, and variation orders in alignment with the contract. • Supervise pre-commissioning, commissioning, and final handover activities. • Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants. ______________ Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in EPC projects, with at least 7 years in HV/EHV substation projects. • Proven track record as a Project Manager in 132kV to 380kV substation projects. • Strong knowledge of power systems, protection & control, GIS substations, transformers, switchgear, and associated equipment. • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors. • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. • Proficient in MS Project / Primavera (P6) and project management tools. • PMP certification is an advantage. ______________ Key Competencies: • Leadership & People Management • Strategic Planning & Decision Making • Technical & Engineering Expertise in HV/EHV Substations • Contract & Risk Management • Budgeting & Cost Control • Communication & Stakeholder Management • Problem Solving & Analytical Skills • Commitment to Quality and HSE
