Nephrologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate DM/DNB Nephrologist to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with acute and chronic kidney disorders, including those requiring dialysis or kidney transplant care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage patients with various kidney-related conditions (e.g., CKD, AKI, glomerulonephritis, hypertension, electrolyte disorders).
• Oversee dialysis treatments (hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis) and address related complications.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for renal transplant patients.
• Coordinate with transplant surgeons and other specialties.
• Perform and interpret relevant diagnostic tests (e.g., renal biopsy, imaging, labs).
• Participate in quality assurance and infection control protocols in dialysis units.
• Provide patient and family education on renal disease and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Attend ward rounds, OPDs, and emergency consults as required.
• Teach and mentor junior doctors, interns, and nursing staff.
• Participate in CMEs, clinical audits, and hospital committees.

Qualifications:

• DM/DNB in Nephrology from a recognized institution

Preferred Skills:

• Strong clinical acumen in nephrology and dialysis management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of hospital EMR systems and digital documentation.
• Research experience/publications in nephrology (optional but preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per month
