Neonatologist

Primary responsibilities

• Diagnosis and treatment: Diagnose and treat conditions in newborns, including infections, birth defects, breathing problems, and issues related to prematurity.
• Critical care: Provide immediate and ongoing care for premature, critically ill, or high-risk newborns. This includes using specialized equipment and managing complex conditions.
• Procedure performance: Perform specialized medical procedures, such as assisting in high-risk deliveries or performing heart-lung bypass on newborns with heart and lung issues.
• Coordination and consultation: Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, including obstetricians, pediatricians, and other specialists.
• Family support: Provide emotional support and guidance to parents, helping them understand their infant's condition and treatment plan. They also facilitate parent-infant bonding.
• Data analysis and management: Order and interpret medical tests like blood work, X-rays, and ultrasounds to monitor conditions and organ function.
• Research: Conduct research and clinical trials to advance the field of neonatology.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per month
