We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to join our education firm as a Back Office Executive cum Accountant. This position requires expertise in Tally and Excel, as well as strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. As a Back Office Executive cum Accountant, you will be responsible for handling various administrative and accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our firm. Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities using Tally software. Calculate monthly salaries for employees based on attendance records, leaves, and applicable deductions. Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure timely processing of salaries. Prepare salary slips and distribute them to employees. Generate invoices for services provided by the education firm using Excel or other billing software. Generate financial reports from Tally and perform data analysis as required. Coordinate with Clients or school co-ordinators to resolve any financial queries or discrepancies. Ensure accurate and up-to-date recording of financial transactions. Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and payments with Tally records. Monitor and update billing records regularly. Prepare reports on billing activities, including outstanding invoices and revenue generated. Requirements: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for invoice generation and billing activities. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping. Good understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations. Proficient in using Tally software for maintaining financial records.
