We are currently seeking a Junior Service Engineer for our Refrigeration Service department in Chennai. As a key member of our Global Technical Services team, you will be responsible for managing service operations with a focus on customer excellence. The ideal candidate should have a B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical engineering with 4-6 years of relevant experience. Your responsibilities will include installation and commissioning of refrigeration systems, developing a skilled team to handle these systems, managing customer complaints within SLA, and implementing problem management and service improvement plans. You will also be expected to generate revenue through value-added services and products. In terms of technical knowledge, you should be proficient in designing, installing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration equipment in industrial and commercial buildings. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of different types of compressors, practical experience in commissioning and troubleshooting centrifugal chillers above 400 TR, and experience with negative chilling units at -15 deg C. Preferred candidates will have previous experience with companies such as Voltas, Blue Star, Carrier, York, Daiken, Kirloskar, etc. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance, paid sick time, and Provident Fund. The work schedule will be in the morning shift with a willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
