We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Quantity Surveyor. You will collaborate with our client teams to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards, while prioritizing safety. This role provides exposure to intricate infrastructure projects in the UK. As a Principal Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include managing the pre-contract tender process, providing robust estimates aligned with scope and risk assessment, overseeing commercial inputs to procurement, maintaining budget and cost management, ensuring accurate commercial reporting, managing project and programme risk, developing client relationships, and supporting internal business development initiatives. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a BE/B.Tech/Master's in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying. You should have extensive experience in project delivery, administration, and management, along with a practical understanding of NEC3 or 4 ECC main Option A, C, or E. Experience in pre-contract tendering, contract management software like CEMAR, stakeholder management, and willingness to travel and work at the client's office are essential requirements. Additionally, candidates should possess 13+ years of relevant experience, excel proficiency, and it would be beneficial to be a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent), have experience in data collection and analysis, delivering within a Cost Consultancy, building relationships, and using tools like CostX, PowerBI, and SharePoint. Experience in residential, mixed-use development, or transportation-related sectors is advantageous.
