Job Summary - Senior Engineer Expert in Transformer Design with 8-10 years Experience. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Design and Develop New products related to Dry type Transformers Design and document customer Special Orders Ensure product compliance as per International Standards and Regulatory requirements UL, CSA, IEC and NEC Transformer, Power supply and UPS testing Organize and attend Reviews and Meetings with Internal and Business Unit Stakeholder Conduct DFMEA, DFM, FMEA etc. Who You Are: BE Electrical Engineering with 8-10 years of Relevant Experience in Transformer Design. For This Role, You Will Need: Expert in Transformer Engineering. Software Skills - Proficient in AutoCAD, Optimized Design Services (OPS) software or similar software, MS Excel, MS Power Point. Experience: In Transformer Design Preferably Low Voltage Dry Type Distribution Transformers, Ventilated Transformer, Encapsulated Transformer, Industrial control Transformer Should have experience in Transformer Design parameters Efficiency, Impedance, Thermal calculation, Core & Coil Losses etc. Exposure to international standards is preferred (UL, CSA, IEC/ATEX, and NEC) Knowledge of Transformer testing - Efficiency testing, Temperature rise, No load Losses , Load Losses etc Good understanding of Transformer Manufacturing and Materials - Coil Winding, Electrical Steel Lamination, Core assembly, Encapsulation etc. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Worked in Global Environment Knows Mechanical Aspect of Transformer Design . Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure accuracy of designs. Prepare and review electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and layout drawings for data center projects. Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEEE). Participate in design review meetings and provide technical input to optimize electrical designs. Update and maintain electrical models and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct quality checks and ensure consistency and accuracy of models and drawings. Support the procurement process by providing detailed specifications and bill of materials (BOM). Experience Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering, CAD Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in electrical modeling/design, preferably in data center or similar industrial/commercial projects. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other industry-standard tools. Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and emergency systems. Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEEE).

Experience Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering or a related field (Master s preferred). 8+ years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a focus on data center projects. Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP). Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC). Experience with power distribution systems, UPS, generators, and switchgear.
