Position: Head - Quality Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh Industry: Steel (Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd.) Role Summary: Lead the quality function at Raipur Steel Foundry, ensuring products comply with customer specifications, statutory requirements, and internal standards. Responsible for developing and executing quality strategy, system implementation, audits, customer interactions, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor quality systems and policies Oversee QA/QC teams and drive adherence to quality objectives Lead root cause analysis and corrective action plans Coordinate with customers and third-party auditors for product approvals and audits Manage certification and recertification processes (ISO/IATF) Promote a culture of quality across the organization Qualifications: BE/B.Tech in Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering 15+ years in Steel / Foundry quality functions, with at least 5 years in leadership roles In-depth knowledge of quality tools, SPC, ISO standards Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
