Position: Australian Payroll and Bookkeeping Specialist Experience: 13 years Location: Bangalore About the Role We are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper with proven expertise in Australian bookkeeping, payroll, and ATO compliance . This role is ideal for someone who can handle end-to-end bookkeeping tasks with precision, manage payroll in line with Australian legislation, and support financial reporting for a growing international business. Experience in NDIS, healthcare, or medical bookkeeping will be highly regarded and considered a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities Handle end-to-end bookkeeping : accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Process accurate and compliant payroll for Australian employees, including Superannuation and PAYG. Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, Superannuation , and other statutory reports as per ATO requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies in payroll or financial records. Stay current with Australian tax laws and Fair Work regulations to ensure compliance. Manage staff rostering and timesheet processing for seamless payroll operations. Assist with financial analysis and reporting for management and auditors. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely submission of all compliance requirements. Requirements 1–2 years of experience in Australian bookkeeping and payroll roles. Hands-on expertise with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks , or similar accounting software. Understanding of BAS, PAYG, Superannuation, Fair Work, and Australian accounting standards . High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills . Ability to work independently , manage deadlines, and communicate effectively. Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping or equivalent qualification preferred. Bonus: Experience in NDIS bookkeeping, healthcare sector bookkeeping, or medical bookkeeping . Train, Develop and evaluate the employees & contractor on Safety related aspects. • Support to carrying out safety talk, safety inspection, audits, management of change, SHE reviews, Identifying and analyzing potential environmental and safety hazards at the plant and recommend corrective action. • Lead in monitoring of routine audit on environment, health, safety and fire prevention. • In charge of investigation, reporting and corrective actions taking to all safety issues. • Monitor the internal and external enrironment of the workplace w.r.t EHS. • In charge of Occupational Health centre and fire prevention. • Facilitate in the investigation of all incidents and accidents, together with ensuring appropriate preventive and corrective actions are undertaken in a timely manner. • In charge of safety training and audit to ensure zero safety accident. • Review and approve correspondence for SHE Function, including but not limited to all kinds of purchasing orders, and work out budgeted cost. • Ensure the implementation of preventive inspection of PPEs & maintenance of emergency equipments. • Prepare emergency response team ,first aiders ,fire fighter and form Safety committee meeting to review and implent best practices. • Prepare Emergency plan and carryout mockdrill for checking alertness and awarness of Emergency prepareness. • Provide expert advice, judgement and analysis in regulatory compliance and due diligence programs. This includes the facilitation of workplace hazard identification, risk assessment and control, provide recommendations that are innovative and entrepreneurial in risk mitigation. • Facilitate all local, regional and global reporting requirements, in ensuring accurate, consistent and reliable data are reported in a timely manner. Analyze data against relevant measurables and provide improvement options. • Establish and maintain a good relationship with local governmental departments like Factories Inspectorate, Pollution Control Board, Local Fire Marshall, etc.
