As the Project Quality Manager, your main responsibilities will include overseeing all Quality assurance and Quality control activities throughout the project lifecycle, from Design/ Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Inspection/ Testing to Commissioning phases. You will be advising and guiding project line management on all Quality and verification activities, along with related technical matters. It will be your responsibility to establish, implement, operate, and maintain the Quality Management System for projects in compliance with relevant standards. You will also play a key role in identifying, allocating quality resources, and providing Quality training for all project personnel, ensuring that they understand and effectively execute their responsibilities as per the quality plan and procedures. Managing the Non-conformity process, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and monitoring their effectiveness will be part of your duties as well. In addition to your prime responsibilities, you will lead Quality Audits both internally and externally, managing multi-discipline QA/QC teams. Regularly conducting Project Quality System review meetings with the project team is also expected from you. Key relationships in this role include internal interactions with Employees and external interactions with Customers, Vendors, Site coordination, and Regulatory bodies. To excel in this role, it is essential that you have experience in Quality Management within the EPC phases of oil and gas projects. Previous experience working with international clients in India or abroad is required. Being a qualified QMS Lead Auditor and having worked as a Project Quality Manager for mega-sized Oil and Gas projects are also prerequisites. Familiarity with international codes and standards used in the Oil and gas industries is a must-have for this position. Additionally, possessing ASNT Level II/III certification in NDE techniques and certification (CSWIP/AWS/NACE/BGAS) in Welding and Painting inspection would be advantageous. Exposure to exotic, non-ferrous, and non-metallic materials is considered a plus.
