Role Description Navmarg Research & Innovation is seeking a Financial Accountant Intern for a 6-month, on-site internship at our Manipal office . This internship is suitable for highly skilled students who are keen on gaining hands-on experience in financial accounting and reporting. The intern will be responsible for supporting the preparation and analysis of financial statements, assisting with financial reporting, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with company guidelines. Use Tally Prime for financial record maintenance, analysis, and reports. Support financial reporting , reconciliation, and compliance tasks. Ensure compliance with the Companies Act 2013 and assist with audits. Contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation. Collaborate closely with the finance team to identify process improvements.. Qualifications: Proven proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis . Strong knowledge of Tally Prime and accounting software. Understanding of Companies Act 2013 and its application in financial accounting. Strong analytical skills , attention to detail, and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting , Finance , or related field. Preference will be given to skilled candidates with a strong understanding of accounting principles , financial reporting, and experience using accounting software. Internship Details: Duration: 6 months. Location: On-site in Manipal, Karnataka (Navmarg office). Compensation: The internship may be paid or unpaid , depending on the candidate’s qualifications and the internship agreement.
