The Electrical Designer position requires a minimum of 8 to 18 years of experience in the field. As an Electrical Designer, you should be proficient in 2D drafting tools like AutoCAD and have experience with 3D design tools such as E3D or PDMS. Additionally, familiarity with Navisworks Simulate and knowledge of document control systems is essential for this role. Your roles and responsibilities as an Electrical Designer include being familiar with relevant international standards, adept at reading and understanding project specifications and Scope of Work (SOW), and capable of reviewing tender and pre-bid documents. You will also be responsible for budgeting, assessing software requirements for modeling and drafting tasks, and leading and guiding the design team. It is crucial that you have the competence to read and understand engineering documents and possess strong communication skills to interact effectively with other disciplines and clients. Moreover, you will participate in internal and external model reviews, proficiently check electrical layouts and installation drawings, review and validate Material Take-Offs (MTOs), and review vendor documents. A basic understanding of PDMS/E3D administration activities is required, and you will be accountable for ensuring the quality of design documents and 3D models produced by the design team.,
