Manage set of programs for short refit or normal refit of submarines with assigned PMO. Prepare the program using the Naval group India program management policy with the PMO Scope validation, WBS, cost breakdown, change management, Purchase requirements, assessment of R&O, QAP, information systems requirement, definition of milestones based on the program type etc. Coordinate with internal (design, technical, quality, purchase, logistics) and external stakeholders (IN, Shipyards, Suppliers) for program execution. Carry out re-forecasting actions for the schedule(s) based on the feedback from customer or change in the scope. Monitor the physical progress and the cost to completion of program execution. Analyze and propose actions to reduce deviations with reference to the deviations Identify risks (technical and others) and mitigate the same. With the PMO team, prepare and present program reviews for program team and management.

HSE supervisory daily routines Carry out safety inspection of the site and to provide clearance to our people (and third party) to work onboard on a daily basis before commencement of work. Alert the teams on a daily basis about the observations and make a report of the same followed by corrective actions - Every changing environment in the dock Take dedicated & planned rounds of the various infrastructure like scaffoldings, emergency exits, gangways, fire control system, medical aid readiness, safety nets, unbarricaded areas etc, with appropriate frequency Report and help the HSE Manager to investigate unsafe actions and near-misses Co-ordinate and liaise with Safety inspectors of the Yard on a daily basis to know about co-activities Have custody/ issuance and check of all the Safety equipment – Gas detectors, Safety harness at the end of the day. Check if all safe systems of work are followed on site regularly. Perform dynamic risk assessment on the spot and improve safe conditions of working. Stop work as part of daily dynamic assessment, when the situation is found to be risky and inform all concerned. Monitor the employees on site and ensure they are always working safely Ensure applicable work permit (confined space entry) is enforced for every work onboard a submarine or a site. Remain present and monitor safety during critical heavy work like crane operation, high pressure tests etc on-site and in workshops. Makes daily spot checks and inspections of work tools, equipment at site and take necessary corrective actions. Ensure that all employees comply with health and safety requirements of the organization like wearing appropriate conditioned PPE. Onsite consult with workers and subcontractors and arrive at a best action plan / solution to deliver a safe working environment for all workers. Ensure that all employees abide by the health and safety rules existing at the yard Check emergency action plans, evacuation means on board or in workshops and make appropriate communication to all staff on site. Set up safety signs and signages at the designated place and ensure they are visible enough for all employees to visualize for example, Battery pit intervention. Have a daily check of the emergency services at standby at the dry dock / normal conditions.
