You will be responsible for managing the entire sales order process, from booking to invoicing, which includes creating purchase orders in the ERP system. Your duties will also involve reviewing documents, such as service contracts, to ensure compliance with Ametek's SOP policies. Communication with assigned Business Units to gather necessary information for accurate sales order entry will be a crucial part of your role. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating and sending purchase orders to BU headquarters via email and updating customer and vendor information as required. A key aspect of this role will be providing explanations and clarifications in Japanese to team members to enhance operational accuracy and efficiency. You will also be expected to handle any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the manager. To qualify for this position, you must have native-level proficiency in Japanese, as all tasks will be conducted in Japanese. Intermediate to business-level English proficiency is also necessary. Experience with ERP systems and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel are required prerequisites. Desirable attributes for this role include an understanding of the full sales order process, from receiving customer POs to shipment and invoicing, including purchasing procedures. Being well-organized, possessing strong negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels will be beneficial. You should be capable of executing routine tasks with speed and accuracy, always confirming unclear points. A flexible and responsible team player who can support colleagues by providing clear explanations in Japanese, contributing to smoother operations and shared understanding, would be an ideal fit for this role.
